Thanksgiving in Lithuania

With Thanksgiving being an American holiday, it doesn't exist here in Lithuania. So today, while all of you in America were relaxing at home, watching parades & football and eating turkey, we were having a regular work day here in Klaipeda. We did, however, do something we don't ordinarily do in honor of this special holiday...after work a group of Americans went to our local McDonalds to get a taste of America with chicken sandwhiches & apple pies (the closest we could get to turkey & pumpkin pie). It's become an annual Thanksgiving tradition for a handful of us Americans serving here at LCC. I'm lovin' it!
